• The step adjusting ring is used to control the height of the dispenser base above the agar surface
• Each dispenser is provided complete with a storage case to protect the unit from moisture when not in use
• These sensi-disc™ self-tamping dispensers accommodate either 6 or 8 cartridges of sensi-disc susceptibility test discs or taxo™ anaerobe differentiation discs
• They are used to deliver discs onto 100 mm-style petri dishes when performing disc susceptibility testing or for the presumptive identification of gram-negative anaerobic bacilli
• Discs are dispensed and tamped onto the agar surface by depressing the dispensing knob on the top of the dispenser
