The etCO2 Microstream Pod measures accurate etCO2 with very low sampling flow (50ml/min) in humid conditions for any application. The pod has a built in CO2 sensor and the user only needs to select the applicable disposable Microstream cannula to get full functionality. It's a cost-efficient solution for measuring CO2 for intubated or non-intubated patients in a wide area of clinical applications like ER, critical care or conscious sedation. The etCO2 Microstream Pod has a short warm-up, requires no calibration and will provide correct measurement even when other gases are present in the exhaled sample. Long life moisture resistant cannulas help prevent interruption of monitoring as well as sample line occlusion. This will also minimize etCO2 artifacts and help caregivers make well informed treatment decisions. Neonatal monitoring is done with ease even with high respiratory rates due to the low sample flow rate, low dead space and light-weight sample cell. Whether used at the bedside, in the field, or in transport, the etCO2 Microstream Pod produces a crisp, accurate waveform and reading under all conditions with use on all types of patients.
