The cuvette cavity contains reagents deposited on its inner walls and the blood sample is drawn into the cavity by capillary action and spontaneously mixed with the reagents
The cuvette is then placed into the analyzer in which the transmittance is measured and the absorbance and glucose level is calculated
Glucose 201 Microcuvettes cannot be used in B-Glucose Systems and vice versa
The individual packaging provides extra protection, increased stability and a longer shelf life for the microcuvettes
