Features
- IceBand® is a cooling and compression bandage that has been specifically developed for the relief of postoperative pain and swelling during rehabilitation after surgery
- IceBand® should be applied directly after surgery and can be used after training sessions and physiotherapy that would otherwise increase swelling and pain
- The cooling agent is pure water without any additives, using PCE™ technology (Phase Changing Element)
- By using PCE™ (Phase Changing Element) technology IceBand obtains an active cooling phase within the therapeutic interval for approximately 60 minutes
- Due to the isolating non-woven fabric, the skin temperature will never go below + 10 C°/50F
- Cooling has a hypo metabolic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect
- In combination with compression therapy, this leads to less swelling, less tissue damage and a quicker rehabilitation
- IceBand Knee includes 1 knee brace and 2 sets of 2 cooling elements
- There are 2 cooling elements to be used in the wrap, and 2 replacement elements to be stored in your freezer
