Amies Clear, Single Rayon Starswab, Sterile Starswab II are a complete bacteriology collection and transport system The color-coded cap has a protective overskirt which helps ensure the containment of biohazardous material All Starswabs are labeled with product number, lot # and expiration date The thick tube wall protects medium from dehydration and the spiral media chamber keeps sample immersed and protected during transport The round bottom tube makes for easy racking and the seamless tube molding ensures tube strength and integrity The rayon tip is inert, non-toxic and permits good sample retrieval and absorption Amies Clear provides excellent survival for a wide range of bacteria and is compatible with gram stain.
