Tempa(dot)DOT B thermometers are bulk packed, accurate, convenient, versatile and economical body temperature measuring devices. Clinically accurate oral body temperature can be obtained in 60 seconds and axillary temperatures in three minutes. Tempa(dot)DOT B thermometers are clean thermometers, bulk packed 250 to a box. These products are especially suited for applications where sterility or infection control issues are not the primary issue. Tempa(dot)DOT B thermometers use a dot sensor matrix consisting of temperature-sensitive indicating dots. Each dot changes color from tan to blue at a specific temperature relative to the melting point of the specific chemical mixture in the dot. Each dot changes color at a temperature of 0.2(deg)F or 0.1(deg)C higher than the preceding dot. Body temperature is read from a numerical temperature scale. Tempa(dot)DOT B thermometers are sensitive to environmental temperature - see storage conditions.
