The second half of the PDM patient warming system is the Soft-Flex warming blanket. The Soft-Flex line addresses a broad range of patient warming needs commonly found in EMS and PACU environments. The blankets are constructed with a two-layer system: The top material is a non-reflecting polyethylene film that can be wiped off when spills occur. The bottom material is a non-woven polyester cloth that absorbs fluid spills without damage. Soft-Flex blankets are made of disposable/recyclable materials. The PD1103 Upper Body Surgical Warming Cover is designed to lay over the patient's arms and chest to maintain body temperature during lower body surgery. The PD1103 has a very low profile when inflated, which prevents it from interfering with surgical procedures. Note: The PD1103 has two air entry ports to allow placement of the heater/blower on either side of the patient. The PD1103L has a single air entry port located on the left side of the patient.
