AbsorbENT packing features three-dimensional, interconnected open cells that are soft, smooth and pliable. This interconnected structure produces a strong, highly absorbent and virtually lint-free packing.
Fenestrated - hole in middle of the pack.
Used to apply medication in Otitis Externa and after surgery to prevent contracture. Keeps antibiotics in contact with ear lining. Prevents stenosis of the external ear canal. Absorbs post-operative fluids.
Sterile.
Usage: Compressed otic wick is placed in ear canal and expanded by applying a few drops of sterile medication (physician's choice). Compressed foam expands, placing gentle pressure on the ear canal lining.
